Well, it's Sunday and it's cloudy/sunny this morning!  This intermittent weather has the metrologists playing guessing games with their audience!  

Hurricane Beryl continues bearing down on Barbados.  St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Grenada were under a hurricane watch.  The islands of Martinique, Dominica and Tobago were under a tropical storm watch.  The National Hurricane Center said that intensify to a major hurricane Category 3 or higher by reaching the Windward Islands.

Only three storms have reached Category 3, according to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, this early in the season.  They were Alma in 1966, Audrey in 1957, and an unnamed storm in 1916.  They made landfall on the U. S. coastline in the Gulf of Mexico: Alma near St. Marks, Fla.:  Audrey near Port Arthur, Texas, and the 1916 storm near Mobile, Ala.

I hope this will provide the information to prepare for this storm and, more importantly, the coming season!  Lets the forecasters are wrong on the season!!

Good morning this Saturday the 29th of June!  This morning should be clear, but the rain is forecast for the early afternoon.  This has been a strange to the start of Summer!  The temperature has varied from a low of below 70 degrees to a high of 100 degrees before the day has been over!  I can't wait for July and August!

The News is reporting the widespread voter fraud in the form of states passing out registration forms to illegal immigrants!  Every state except Arizona is guilty of that practice!  It will take an act of congress to repeal The National Voter Registration Act of 1993.  Is that the reason Biden got a record number of votes in 2020?  I have to wonder, in light of this revelation!

I noticed that MARTIN MULL had passed.  I remember him as a young man.  We were contemporaries, since was born only 2 years after me.  I am getting to remember a number of people born after me that I outlived!  Sobering thought!

MY DAILY LOGUE

 

The Minnesota Rapidan Dam in Blue Earth County has suffered a catastrophic collapse!  A house was seen when it fell into the rushing water!  The water stood at 28 feet when it collapsed, even it was designed to handle a depth of 39 feet!  Perhaps then recent flooding may have caused too much pressure on the dam.  Regardless, people will be talking about the day that the dam collapsed for many years to come.

That brings to mind a classic movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still".  The flying saucer from outer space had landed in a small in a small town and an invasion was on everyone's mind.  It turned out to be the opposite!  They were on  a peace mission to stop us from blowing each other!  We weren't listening! 

"The debate" was a bit off key, considering the performances!  Biden couldn't stay on key and Trump did, but seemed possessed with January 6th.  Democrats, reports say, that are considering replacing Biden on the ticket!  Is it possible that we should consider age limits for Presidential candidates?

Meanwhile, Assange is flying back to his home in Australia a free man, after pleading guilty for spilling the beans on the U.S!  That ends a 12 year legal battle.

I hope I didn't run over my time limit!  That would be my bad!

MY DAILY LOGUE

 

Since I have been so busy with my new logue logo, and other matters, I have been remis in watching the news.  I should be keeping up with it since I a writer of a logue!  I did catch the article about the dam in Minnesota collapsed, well part of it did.  Now, the water is pouring out at a rapid pace.  Today, I will spend time and get the in depth report.

"Other matters" are my neminis!  That has gotten me in hot water before!  Spending too much time on them is the problem!  Today is day to get caught up!  I hope it is not too late!

 

I can't decide whether to put the new logo at the beginning of the post or at the end!  For now I am keeping it at the beginning because I want for get used for you to seeing it.  Anytime you see it you will know that will be followed by a logue written by me and you should read it! 

 All of my logues can be read in a minute or two!  That is to know that you will not spend more than that to read one of my logues! I am sure that your attention span is longer than that, but I wanted to be able to rely on me to limit my logues even if you are busy!

I have to chuckle a bit because my calling my posts "logues" instead of "blogs", but they keep mine in red, as though it is misspelled!  Aside from "logue" sounding better than "blog", mine was to stand alone in the billions of bloggers in the world!  Their meanings are the same, so why not call it a logue?

 

WE ARE EXCITED THIS MORNING BECAUSE OF A NEW LOGO!

We had intended to have our new logo ready by our first post, but we were not happy with the initial outcome.  We were ready to post so we jumped the gun by a week, as it turned out.  We have got our new subscription set up and that will be soon.

What is next on the agenda is to increase our coverage and content of our logue.  I have to cut it short today, because in a few minutes I'm scheduled to get my new teeth within a month!  Unfortunately, my teeth did not last as long I did, or vice versa!  Actually, I'm very glad that it's the reverse of that!

Well, it's a about that time to go. We will be making the changes I mentioned earlier over the next week or so!  Until then, don't take any wooden nickels!

MY DAILY LOGUE

 NOW IS THE SECOND MORNING TO ITALICS FOR MY LOGUE!

I like them and I'm going to keep them around!  I used a photograph yesterday that was a picture of my Chrysler before it was washed. I sold at as is, where is, sitting under my carport. That is where is it's been since I've had it since my stroke.  Actually, the paint has been protected for all these three years!  I learned that when I parked my '67 Charger outside without washing it for months.  When I did, it came out pretty and shiny, as though it was never parked outside!

I know that it wouldn't last forever without washing, but a car in good condition can be for years, in this case, protected by a covered facility.  That was proven that by my Chrysler for sitting untouched for over three years!  Wonders never cease...before and after!

MY DAILY LOG

Well, it's Sunday and no plans for the day.  Isn't that an everyday thing for me, since my stroke?  Fortunately, I have do some banking tomorrow!  I promise you that will take an hour or two.  That at least will get me out of the house!

I have been busy on my art.  I have done nine so far.  I am working on another one and I may not be able to complete it today.  It is the most complicated one I have attempted before.  I have completed some buildings on it, but I have no idea what to do next!  I will and I do always finish it!

I have been informed we are going to Jack's for breakfast.  I will hope that I can get my new teeth next Tuesday!  Then I can order something substantial than grits and scrambled eggs!  Also, I have put in for a standing order for some MACADAMIA nuts!

MY DAILY LOGUE

 FINALLY, I GAVE UP ON "FIXING" MY PROBLEM WITH MY LOGUE (BLOG)!  I am trying yet another answer!  I have turned it over to another person who is an expert on these matters.  I know am in good hands!

I am at a loss for words this mornin'.  I have been working on a different problem entirely, my new computer.  It has its own set of problems, that of its newness and my old iPad sitting beside it.  They talk to each other!  Once it gets all its integration done, it will be OK!

MY DAILY LOGUE

 I got started off on the wrong foot, in the very beginning!  I've been spelling LOUGE wrong!  The correct spelling is LOGUE!  It looked right to me all along!  That is the result of my stroke.  I'm not dyslexic, but the result could be.

Now, I promised that I would give you the result of my Blog settings!  Well, not so good as I expected!  When I posted my 'EXTRA' explaining my Blog settings changes, nothing changed!  The 'EXTRA' still posted to my NEW Blog and did not posted to my OLD one!  Now I am buying a new Domain on Network Solutions hoping that will solve the problem.  That I should maybe done that all along.

I will be posting some short 'TEST' posts to try out the new Domain.  Meantime, I am working on getting existing pictures off my old iPad onto my new powerful Dell.  Until tomorrow, I bid adieu!

MY DAILY LOGUE EXTRA

 I'm not going insane, but sometimes I feel like that I am!  I have one address, kudzuandpoisonivy.blogspot.com, that goes to two addresses!  That is disconcerting, to say the least!  One goes to a newly found Blog that I discovered a few nights ago.  The other goes to the old one with new material.  The new material won't open the old material, vice versa.

I'm trying something different tonight!  I changed the settings to both the new and old Blog.  If that doesn't work, I have nowhere to go with it!  Wish me luck!  I will report tomorrow in MY DAILY LOGUE how it comes out!

MY DAILY LOUGE!

 What is a LOUGE?  In my case, it is another name for a Blog.  It is pronounced L-O-G, as in a 'log' for keeping track of, oh say milage for a trucker.  This is how I will start my days from now on.  From here, I don't know what I will say next!

Well, I don't know if I can keep a daily louge up!  I have started my painting again!  I spend most of time doing that.  I was apprehensive about starting back painting again, since my stroke three years ago.  This is the first time to resume my painting in three years and I didn't know if I could because of my right hand, which is inoperative.  This is a subject for another day.

I have been right handed all of my 82 years!  How on Earth I could I possibly be expected to draw again with my LEFT hand?  I can only print with it as it is!  Longhand has escaped me, although I have tried!  My left hand doesn't want to move right in longhand.  After putting it off as long as I dare to, I bought some chalk and colored pencils for drawing with pastels.  So my life as a painter was to begin anew!  I wasn't sure I was getting into myself for!

We have find out tomorrow, as I now will try to write my second installment of MY DAILY LOUGE!

 THIS IS A 1971 CHRYSLER NEWPORT FOUR DOOR HARDTOP THAT I RECENTLY SOL SOLD.

 We were without a Blog that had themes (pretty pictures) for so long that I had forgotten about them.  Over this weekend we were reunited with a Blog that I had gone away.  I had missed that had GOOGLE had apparently bought Blogger.

Everything that Blogger had is still there, and more!  I will have to go exploring to find what Google has.  I am so delighted to my "Blogger" back!

DEJA VOUS

 I experienced Deja Vu this weekend!  From my past and pre-stroke appeared a post that I thought had been lost forever because of my stroke.  At first, I thought that it had been stolen from my old computer.  Upon further examination it was my blog all right.  But, I wondered how from my old computer in another city to my new one here!

I was convinced I had a mystery, but was not clear that how it came to pass.  There had to be a connection other passing between cities.  Meanwhile I shared it with my daughter to celebrate my good fortune to have found it!

Asking her whether she had seen it I was got dissertation about what had taken place!  As it turns out that she had bookmarked my Blog the first time it was published!  When I had started to type MY Blog of the same name before it had finished I got the old one I thought was lost forever!

That had to be the connection, even though I used "&" instead of "and", when my typing got the first word out the old one popped up!  My mystery had been solved, and it was not even painful!
