MILTON DISASTER!

 TENS OF BILLIONS IN DAMAGES FORTHE FOURTH TIME!

ERNESTO IS FORGOTTEN BUT GEORGIA, ALABAMA AND TENNESEE REMEMBERS THEBIG RAINMAKER WELL!!!!!!

Florida had two hurricanes pass over the mainland and one entered the Florida pan handle and went on to wreak havoc through Appalachia!  The damage in Florida and Appalachia will be in the tens of billions and will take years to recover, if ever!  Scars left behind in Appalachia will never heal!  The landscape in Florida will be forever altered! 

Not since, in my humble opinion, has done more damage and caused more deaths in 2024, albeit over a significantly vast area!  Tornados added to the severe damage and deaths' misery!  

I was planning to do an in depth analysis of the hurricanes, but considering the extent of the situations I decided to forego it.  Others can do a better job anyway!

MILTON  WREAKING  HAVOC  IN  FLORIDA! 

NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT THE MESS CREATED BY HELENE IS NOT OVER AND WILL TAKE YEARS TO RECOVER FROM IT!

We won't know for a couple of days the outcome will be from Milton!  

4 deaths have been reported already in Port Lucie County from a tornado, at least!  At I-95 in Fort Peirce on the other side of Florida, a large wedge tornado developed and people hardly stopped to watch!  SHEESE!

3.2 MILLION CUSTOMERS ARE WITHOUT POWER! 

When we can catch our breaths we will an in depth report on Milton and Invest93 doesn't develop!

ANCIENT SITE

My Art took a turn to Ancient sites recently.  I knew I had seen picture from  memory of  an  Ancient  Temple carved from the

rocks  that surrounding it. 

 After finishing it I set out  to find  the   picture if I could.  I started with a series of flash prints that could be in those.  It was in the third set that I found it, but the flash print was too elusive. I  tried again to save or download it, but Adobe wasn’t cooperating.  Luck was on my side though when I was able to accidentally download it.  The result is shown above.

Now it comes down to my painting.  I only used five colors in the process. My painting does not match the photograph exactly, nor was it intended to because I was operating from memory!  I remembered more of it than I thought!

However, I think I did do justice for capturing the gist of it, don’t you?

HELENE'S FURY!

 HELENE'S FURY LEFT AN INDELIBLE MARK IN IT'S HISTORY!

At least 5 states in Appalachia cannot ever forget or forgive it's fury and it's scarred aftermath!  As of October 6th morning at 4am the official death count stands at 227 in the 6 states of Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee and Virginia.  Officials in the those states fear that the toll will continue to rise due to the devastation! Over 2 million are still without power.

Typical of the devastation is the community of Chimney Rock, North Carolina.  The Mayor reported that the business district was totally wiped out!  The scenes of total devastation is played out in all the states equally.

Many roads are still closed and will be for some indetermined time.  For example, the entire Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina and Virginia is closed for indefinitely, due to several major total washouts!  In fact, in some places will require replacing the affected sections completely!  I estimate that some sections will require rerouting or replacing with bridges!  This damage will take at least months or a year or longer! 

Many places are shut-off from the outside World and cannot reach their loved ones due to non-existing communications!  They are without water and life sustaining food, in many cases.  If these communities are not reached and given help soon...!
