WE TOOK A DAY OFF BECAUSE OF COMPUTER TROUBLES!

We ended up having to shut it down then restarted it. Just restarting it did not do the trick!

GILMA is still in the western Atlantic, but it has advanced some. It is still too early to tell what she will do! Wait another 24 hours and we will have a better handle on it.

We have a dilemma of sorts that is weighing heavy on my mind! I feel like I'm wasting my time and energy on my logue! If I don't get any comments on this post the last time Iwill be posting on my logue! If you don't care enough to give me one comment then that will be confirmation that I should give it up!

HURRICANE GILMA

CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE GILMA IS IN THE WESTERN ATLANTIC SOUTH OF LA PAZ MOVING AT 5.8 MPH!

THIS MORNING'S BRIEF WAS "NO DISTURBANCES" IN T iHE ATLANTIC! I JUST MIGHT A CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE QUALIFY AS A DISTURBANCE!

Gilma has sustained winds of 115.1 MPH with gusts of 138 MPH. She, or I guess is she, has a minor disturbance out ahead of her. She is expected to be downgraded to a Category 2 or 1 in a day or so, but I will believe it only if it happens! I don't trust hurricanes!

The Saharan sand going further west than normal is the main reason for is a quieter season since Debby. The sand will dissipate and activity will resume!

PUBLISHING

WE ARE LAUNCHING GUYE SCOTT LIBRE PUBLISHING!

Actually, we have been around for many years! But because of being a private publisher, we haven't made a big thing out of it, until now! We have a LOGO now, that we have not had before! We decided to make it public, after all this time!

We are still a private publisher. We have no plans beyond this.

On a personal note, I wanted to share my logo with you! I am retired and I was an Executive. Now, after my stroke, have taken up painting, in many mediums. I am currently working in acrylics. I will be switching to colored pencils soon.

A STALLED STORM IS NO MATCH FOR RAIN OR FLOODING!

This will go down in the history books as being the rainiest storm ever, I suspect! We have another two weeks or so to go!

Meanwhile, there is another tropical system in the works! It has potential to be a contender! I don't relish the idea!

RAIN, GO AWAY,COME BACK AGAIN SOMEDAY IN THE FUTURE!

WIND IS NOT THE ENEMY NOW, BUT RAIN AND FLOODING IS!

Much rain has fallen! I'm not sure of the amount right now, but over a foot has fallen in most places in Georgia and has a good start in South Carolina! Debby has virtually stalled and will be around until the end of the week in South Carolina! Debby has the potential to double the amounts fell in Georgia!

Debby is nearing the point of breaking records and becoming historic!

WHAT DID I TELL YOU? DEBBY DECIDED TO SLIDE TO THE LEFT YESTERDAY! YOU CAN TRUST HURRICANES TO DO THE UNEXPECTED! DEBBY IS NOW A CATEGORY 1 HURRICANE!

AT THIS POINT, AT6:30AM DEBBY HASN'T MADE LANDFALL.

DEBBY IS SUPPOSED TO JOG RIGHT AT LANDFALL! LET'S SEE IF SHE DOES! AT THIS POINT I STILL DON'T TRUST HER TO DO WHAT'S EXPECTED OF HER!

DEBBY TROPICAL STORM HAS ARRIVED OVERNIGHT FROM CUBA AND IS NOW IN THE GULF OF MEXICO ON FLORIDA'S EASTERN EDGE ABOUT 150 MILES OF FLORIDA'S COASTLINE!

I know, you told me so! I was the Tropical "disturbance" so uncertain it's ultimate plan was that I hedged my bet 'til now! Overnight, it strengthened and became Debby Tropical Storm!

Rain, wind, water surge, wind shear, all are the words of the day on Florida's Eastern shores! Meteorologists are saying that when Debby reaches the Florida panhandle, it will make an abrupt right turn! I do not trust that prediction! We may get some of Debby in SW Alabama!

We'll see what happens, but don't make any outside plans for Alabama Monday or Tuesday!

METOROLOGISTS HAVE ADDED A TROPICAL WAVE TO MIX!

That means that, in addition to the disturbance, they are now saying that INVEST 97L can cause a big wave to contend with! They haven't said how big it will be, but are we're talking about tsunami sized? The implications are there, but I might expect something like that out of the Sea of Japan that hits the north shore of Oahu!

Regardless, this is the most, longest lasting and hardest to forecast NON-STORM that I have ever witnessed in my 83 years! This it CAN HAPPEN it eventually IT WILL HAPPEN!

SOUTHEAST BRACES FOR IMPACT OF THE GULF TROPICAL DISTURBANCE INVEST 97L AS FLORIDA HAS BEEN DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY BY THE GOVERNOR RON DESANTIS!!

YES, BOYS AND GIRLS ARE CATCHING UP TO DISTURBANCE IN THE GULF OF MEXICO AS PREDICTED, IT APPEARS TO BE!

There is a problem, however! "THEY" don't know how to predict the accuracy of the landing zone, which could be from the Eastern coast to the Northern part of Mexico! The forecast model looks like spaghetti!

This is my first prediction of sorts! MY PREDLLLICTION IS THAT THE TROPICAL DISTURBANCE INVEST 97L IS GOING TO HIT LAND SOMEWHERE, SOME TIME...OR NOT!

HOW MANY HURRICANES HAVE THERE BEEN THIS YEAR?

I'm so confused and frustrated over the season so far it's not funny anymore! There is one that is reporting that we are waiting for to see if DEBBY is going to develop into a full-fledged storm! Another is reporting that if CARLOTTA and future DANIEL are going to form, they will have consequences!

SOMEBODY IS WRONG! All of this speculation is because they are grabbing at straws for stories to write! I saw no less than 10 videos on YouTube this morning, that is a drop-in-the-bucket to all the stories written today!

These facts exist: 1) The disturbance is UNNAMED! 2) They have no idea how strong it will get! 3) They don't when it will hit! 4) I am not going to play their speculative, petty, silly games!

I stand firm that all the above is true!
